Online BI Bookstore is operated by Australian National Covenant Message Inc. (ABN 97 823 347 630). This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you visit britishisrael.store, place an order, contact us or join our mailing list. Our store is hosted by Shopify. The main federation website at britishisrael.org.au has its own privacy policy.

What we collect and why

Depending on how you use the store, we may receive your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, order history, products viewed or added to a cart, account and communication details, and device and website-use information such as IP address, browser details, cookies and online identifiers. Shopify and the payment provider handle payment information needed to process your order; we do not ask you to send card details by email. We use information to operate the store, process payments and orders, arrange production and delivery, handle returns and questions, keep business records, prevent fraud, improve the store, and meet legal obligations. If you sign up for promotional messages, we may use your contact details to send them; you can unsubscribe using the link in an email.

Service providers and overseas processing

Shopify hosts the store and supports checkout, payments, customer accounts and store analytics. For orders, we share the details needed for fulfillment with the applicable provider. Stocked items may be dispatched from Victoria using Australia Post or another service shown at checkout. Print-on-demand items may be produced and sent by Printify or its production partners, sometimes in a separate parcel. We may use Google services for product listings, measurement and advertising, Judge.me for product reviews, and Mailchimp or Mailmunch for email-list and signup tools. Other providers may support hosting, security, payments, delivery and customer service. We share information with providers only as needed for these purposes, when you direct us, or where law requires. Providers and their partners may process or store information outside Australia; their locations can change. Their privacy policies also apply to their services. We do not sell customer lists.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Shopify and connected services use cookies and similar technologies for checkout, security, preferences, analytics and advertising. Google tags and other connected pixels may collect device identifiers and interactions and may involve cross-site advertising. Our customer privacy settings include a consent banner for selected regions, including Australia, but third-party scripts may not be governed by that banner. We are reviewing and testing those scripts; please do not assume all optional tracking is blocked before a choice until that work is complete. You can manage cookies in your browser, though restricting essential cookies may affect checkout. You may also use the store's Your Privacy Choices page where its regional opt-out controls are available; that page is not a substitute for an Australian cookie choice.

Reviews, links and retention

If you submit a product review, the name and content you choose to publish may be visible to other visitors. The store can link to third-party sites; check their policies when you leave ours. We keep order and communication records as reasonably needed to provide service, comply with tax and other legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the store. We take reasonable steps to secure information, but no online service is risk-free.

Your rights and choices

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold, request deletion where applicable, withdraw from marketing messages or complain about our handling of information. We may need to verify your identity and retain some records where law requires. Contact us using the details below. If you are unhappy with our response to an Australian privacy complaint, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Other rights may apply depending on where you live.
